Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, 

 

Please save the date to join a celebration in recognition of Pastor Bob Scott’s 29 years of service and ministry at Calvary Chapel Oroville. 

 

Pastor Bob has made it clear he is not “retiring”. Rather, he has transitioned to the role of Pastor Emeritus, in which he will continue to serve the Lord, mentor, and offer guidance to Pastor Jonathan Dow, who has assumed the Senior Pastor role at CCO.  Our desire is to honor Pastor Bob for his nearly 30 years of faithful service, with a rich time of celebrating through fellowship, food, sharing, and music. 

 

In addition, if you would like to contribute to a gift in his honor, the CCO body will be purchasing a beautiful concrete bench for his property and possibly a tree to plant (shhh). This year marked Bob & Denise’s 40th wedding anniversary. We hope this gift will bring a peaceful place for him to meditate on God’s word, enjoy the canyon views, and reflect on a life of precious memories, as he rebuilds his home and continues his journey in this new chapter. 

 

Taco bar and drinks will be provided. Please consider bringing a side dish or dessert.
